Hitachi Construction Machinery – Americas is officially launching an exclusive group for Hitachi owners, operators and fans during CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas this week. The group is called “The HERD,” which speaks to the brand’s value proposition and stands for Hitachi, Efficiency, Reliability and Durability.
“We have fans all across this region who are Hitachi To The Core,” said Carlos Uriarte, division sales manager at Hitachi Construction Machinery – Americas. “We wanted to further engage with and hear from those people who are loyal to the Hitachi brand and who are instrumental in our continued growth. Whether you’ve owned a Hitachi machine for years, dream of getting your hands on one soon or just love Hitachi equipment, we invite you to join The HERD.”

Since its soft launch in 2016, the HERD group has steadily grown in members. Currently, HERD membership extends across the U.S. and Canada. For the time being, The HERD membership is only available to Hitachi owners, operators and fans who live in the United States and Canada.
Hitachi’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG booth features a station where show attendees can sign up for free to join The HERD. New members will be mailed a membership kit that includes a membership card, an official HERD hat and other surprises (while supplies last).
For those fans who are unable to visit the show, online registration is also available at www.HitachiConstruction.com/TheHERD. These registrants will need to contact their local Hitachi dealer for a sign-up code.
Hitachi’s booth is located in the North Hall at booth #N12525. Visitors to the Hitachi booth can get up-close and personal with excavators, learn more about the brand’s new factory-installed grade guidance system option, meet with global product experts and much more.
