Hitachi introduces five mining electric drive shovels: EX1900E-6, EX2600E-6, EX3600E-6, EX5600E-6 and EX8000E-6
Hitachi has introduced five mining electric drive shovels to the U.S. and Latin American markets – the EX1900E-6, EX2600E-6, EX3600E-6, EX5600E-6 and EX8000E-6. The shovels feature an advanced zero-emission electric drive motor designed to provide a cost-effective solution to mining operations where low-cost electric power is available.

Hitachi introduces ZX130-6, ZX160LC-6 and ZX180LC-6 utility excavators with FT4 engine
The three new excavators – the ZX130-6, ZX160LC-6 and ZX180LC-6 – are equipped with a powerful EPA FT4/EU Stage IV Isuzu engine complete with integrated, effective engine technologies and do not require a diesel particulate filter. With the introduction of these three machines, all five excavators in Hitachi’s utility excavator line are now FT4-compliant.

New Hitachi Fuel Advantage Program designed to improve operational efficiency
Hitachi is building upon its suite of technology solutions and leveraging dealers’ consultation capabilities with the introduction of the Hitachi Fuel Advantage program. Eligible on 23 pieces of Hitachi construction equipment, the program features fuel consumption commitments, quarterly reports designed to help contractors improve efficiency, and an incentive to utilize the Hitachi dealer as a consultative partner.
