Fly by Day, Dig by Night
It’s 10 p.m. and flight traffic is settling down for the day at the Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keāhole (KOA) on the Island of Hawaii. As the day comes to an end, Nan, Inc. starts up its Hitachi ZX470LC-6 excavator on the airport’s major project called the Terminal Modernization Program Phase 1, a $75 million investment in airport upgrades and layout reorganization.
