The wait is over — the exciting new crop of orange ZX Dash 5 Series Excavators have been revealed on the floor of ConExpo and are starting to arrive at local Hitachi dealers. Altogether, six new ZX Dash-5s are rolling out this year: 250LC-5, 290LC-5, 350LC-5, 470LC-5, 670LC-5, and 850LC-5.

Contractors are discovering the machines continue the longstanding Hitachi tradition of being reliable, smooth, fuel-efficient, and quiet while incorporating customer-driven features. They are built to provide superior durability and productivity while keeping operating costs low.

Operators will get more work done in a day because the Dash 5s are more productive. Thanks to optimized hydraulics, the excavators have improved specs for greater arm digging force, bucket digging force, lift capacities, swing speed, swing torque, hydraulic flow, engine horsepower, and drawbar pull (varies by model).
