The ZX50U-3 offers several new upgrades to increase your productivity and improve versatility starting with an engine that's certified to EPA Interim Tier-4 emissions.
Optional angle Blade
The ZX50U-3 can be equipped with an optional, hydraulic, adjustable-angle backfill blade that features 25 degrees of adjustment to both the left and right for more efficient trench backfilling. Blade angle changes easily with buttons on top of the blade control lever.
New auxiliary hydraulic control
Auxiliary hydraulics are now conveniently controlled with a slide switch atop the right-hand pilot control josytick.
New backfill blade design
The backfill blade arms now utilize a box-section design for higher resistance to torsional loads and twisting.
Waved cooling fins
Waved cooling fins on both the radiator and oil cooler help to reduce packing with debris.
The result is extended cleaning intervals and a
cooler running machine.
No Tail Swing
State-of-the-art design allows the Hitachi ZX50U-3 to work in confined areas, meaning they are easily positioned to work closer to buildings, obstructions, even in a single lane of traffic.
