Hitachi has partnered with John Deere to combine our marketing efforts in the Americas. This means one marketing and sales organization backing both Hitachi and Deere brands. It also means new opportunities to provide Hitachi customers with enhanced support.
Hitachi dealers are now supported by the John Deere parts system. Logistically, dealers are served from the Parts Distribution Center in Milan, Illinois. This facility supports 11 North American parts depots.
Thousands of parts and components in John Deere's parts network are classified as "critical parts." Critical parts are wear parts like bucket teeth, maintenance items such as fluids and filters, and machine-down parts and components that can be installed in two hours or less. Each dealer's goal is to have 100 percent of critical parts in stock at all times.
Affiliated companies such as Phoenix Hydraulics provide quality remanufactured components for Hitachi and non-Hitachi machines. It also offers a line of pre-owned excavator parts and components that provide an economical solution to owners of older, standby machines.
