Extended Coverage is purchased coverage for Hitachi Construction, Forestry and Mining Equipment. Full Machine and/or one of three Power Train options (Power Train Plus Hydraulics, Power Train or Engine Only) are available. For Commercial, Governmental or Rental Applications. maximum hour coverage ranges from 500 to 10,000 hours with total months coverage ranging from 12 to 84 months.
Forestry or Severe Duty Applications range from 500 to 5000 hours with total months ranging from 12 to 36 months. Purchased coverage can be transferred when the machine is traded or sold, and stays with the machine if it's taken to any North American Hitachi Equipment dealer.
Preventive Maintenance Programs are generally available through Hitachi dealers. Programs can be developed to suit the individual equipment need based on factory recommended maintenance intervals, application, machine usage, and operating environment. Utilizing the Hitachi dealer, Preventive Maintenance Programs will ensure the level of machine reliability and up-time you expect.
